Do you love animals, especially dogs? Learn how to make extra money after school or work by watching dogs or other pets in the pet’s home. You will learn about feeding, watering, and exercising pets, how to make a good impression, what questions to ask when interviewing for a pet sitting job, and what to do when a dog has behavioral issues. You will also discover other services you can offer to make more money, such as dog walking, grooming, puppy training, etc. Informative handouts for future use are included in the class fee. NYS Notary Signing Agent

If you are currently a New York State notary public and always wanted to explore earning additional income with your current notary commission, this seminar is for you !After completing this basic introductory course, you will have the opportunity to work on a freelance basis in your own independent business by working with mortgage, title and signing companies who will hire you on a per-job assignment, where you may earn from $75 to $150 or more for notarizing and presenting mortgage loan documents. All materials are included in this course, which features a step-by-step guide book, sample loan documents, 20-page mortgage glossary and a YouTube mock loan signing. Course fee includes a $15 materials fee.

Notary Public Review Workshop

This workshop prepares you for the New York State notary public test and will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the notary public’s role. Confusing laws, concepts and procedures will be clearly explained and clarified. Examples will be provided to illuminate situations that a notary public is likely to encounter. Topics include avoiding conflicts of interest, maintaining professional ethics, charging proper fees, handling special situations, when to defer to an attorney, and minimizing legal liability. This workshop is a must for candidates who want to become fully aware of the authority, duties and responsibilities involved in becoming a notary. All materials will be provided, including website information, booklets and forms. Also featured is an 80-question practice exam that attempts to emulate the actual New York State mandatory exam. Course fee includes a $15 materials fee.
