Hudson Valley Community College offers alternative methods of earning college credit outside the classroom.

• Life Experience Program
  This program is only open to matriculated students in a degree or certificate program at Hudson Valley Community College.
• College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) Exams Accepted for Credit
  Hudson Valley grants credits for College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) Exams based on minimum scores outlined here.
• Advance Placement (AP) Exams Accepted for Credit
  Hudson Valley grants credits for Advance Placement (AP) Exams based on minimum scores outlined here.
