Summer College in the High School Courses

The College in the High School program is offering a robust schedule of summer courses for students going into their junior or senior year in the upcoming fall at any New York State high school.

  • Enrollment in these courses is limited to high school students.
  • Courses are taught by Hudson Valley Community College faculty.
  • No cost for Summer 2024 College in the High School Classes!
    All expenses – tuition, books and fees – for summer College in the High School classes are funded by a college scholarship.
    Note: 
    • The scholarship covers up to eight credits.
    • Those who are fully registered by June 21 will automatically have their textbooks shipped or eBooks emailed to their HVCC account; after this date textbooks/eBooks are available for pick-up in the Viking's Cove Bookstore.
  • Beginning in Summer 2024, all College in the High School course registration is completed online via Voyager. More details are available in the Registration Information section.
    NOTE: The following special programs require unique registration processes outside of Voyager:

    • Cohoes Future Ready Pathways

Registration Information

Beginning in Summer 2024, all College in the High School course registration is completed via Voyager. All registration requests must be approved by a school official before registration can be completed.
NOTE: Certificates of Residence must be obtained no sooner than 60 days prior to the date you register for classes, and no later than 30 days after the start of classes.
