Fashion and Design (Microcredential)
This microcredential is a great entry point for students seeking a design program that highlights the history of fashion.
A foundation of drawing and digital imaging courses provide hands-on learning and opportunities to increase technical proficiency using industry-standard equipment and software. Additional courses in the history of fashion and art provide students with the context and understanding needed to pursue further education in the forms and styles of Western dress and fashion.
All four courses are required and/or electives in the college’s Fine Arts A.S. or Digital Media A.S. program, and students who complete the microcredential are encouraged to continue their education at the associate degree level and beyond.
