Advanced Bioprocessing and Automation (Microcredential)
The Advanced Bioprocessing and Automation Microcredential prepares students to advance their skills in areas of the pharmaceutical industry that rely on the biomanufacturing of protein-based drugs, effective team communication, and machine automation and diagnostics of machine faults.
The microcredential focuses on critical knowledge and skills for the process scientist, including but not limited to: verbal team communication and documentation of laboratory results, planning a biomanufacturing regimen from genetic construct through protein purification, assessing yield by utilizing various advanced analytical tools, and application of diagnostic protocols when determining automation faults.
