The Biotechnology degree program offers you the educational background needed for employment in biotechnology or several related fields. As a biotechnology student at Hudson Valley, you'll be offered a strong, overall background in the sciences, including biology, chemistry and mathematics.

This flexible program, grounded in basic science and liberal arts along with laboratory experience in standard biotechnological techniques, will prepare you to enter the job market directly or transfer to a variety of four-year programs.

The college also offers a Biotechnology certificate program for students who already possess a significant amount of college credit in science and mathematics.

Many of the degree's courses are taught in the Science Center, which includes 25 state-of-the-art laboratories and a Science Study Center.

This program is offered by the Biology, Chemistry and Physics Department.
