The Fitness Specialist certificate program is designed for those who wish to start or build upon a career in the growing fitness industry. After completing this program, you will have foundational knowledge to sit for professional examinations offered by the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Health Professionals, Cooper Institute and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. - One-of-a-Kind Program

Study in our state-of-the-art exercise physiology lab, and take advantage of three fitness rooms that include Cybex and Lifetime fitness equipment, as well as a new cutting-edge paramount functional trainer and touch screen displays on cardio equipment. - Field Experience
Gain hands-on experience, with placement in local health clubs and fitness facilities.
The certificate is offered through the Health, Physical Education and Exercise Studies Department.
