The Computer Information Systems A.A.S. (Associate of Applied Science) program provides students with a broad base of knowledge in programming and logic, information resource management, systems analysis/design, and database management for computer science, computer information systems, and information technology (IT).
The A.A.S. academic program is primarily designed for those whose main goal is to gain employment in the information technologies upon graduation from Hudson Valley.
The degree transfers well to CS, computer information systems, information technology management and informatics four-year degree programs.
