The Liberal Arts and Sciences - Humanities and Social Science degree parallels the first two years of a baccalaureate level program in the liberal arts.
A foundation of core courses allows you to discover a breadth of knowledge and electives can help you focus on a particular field of study for transfer.
The majority of students graduating from this program continue their education at a four-year college or university. Graduates generally pursue these fields at their transfer institution: Behavioral and Social Science, Communication, Foreign Studies, Journalism, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, History and English. You will work closely with your academic advisors to select additional courses to obtain junior status in your desired transfer program
This program is offered by the Education and Social Sciences Department.
