Nursing and Surgical Technology
The Nursing and Surgical Technology Department is one of the original allied health education departments at the college and has clinical affiliations with every major medical institution in the Capital Region.

The department offers the following programs:
Nursing A.A.S.
This program will prepare you academically and clinically to work in hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation facilities and doctor's offices. Graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nurse) and are also positioned to continue their education at the bachelor's degree level if desired. Surgical Technology A.A.S.
This program prepares you for a career as a professional member of a surgical team. Surgical technologists prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment and help doctors during a range of surgical procedures.
