The IT Help Desk Support certificate program provides you with a strong foundation to enter the workforce in the information technology field as a computer support specialist or help desk support technician, providing assistance to those using computer software or equipment. You will learn the fundamentals of current and new computing technologies, hardware and software support, business analytics, database management systems, programming and logic, networking, web design, and computing and information security.

IT help desk support specialists provide assistance to people using computer software or equipment. The field covers a broad spectrum of career pathways and may involve working with and assisting end-users or troubleshooting with tech professionals the field.

This certificate program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation. Because this field is constantly evolving, the certificate program also can be used to enhance and validate skills for those already in the computer/technical support field.
