Information for The College of Saint Rose Students

Hudson Valley Community College is ready to welcome students displaced by the spring 2024 closure of The College of Saint Rose who are looking to continue their studies here in the Capital Region.

Located just 10 minutes away from St. Rose, in Troy, Hudson Valley offers more than 80 programs that lead to associate degrees and certificates in many areas that align with St. Rose’s programs, including arts, business, education, healthcare, science and technology. Classes are available on our Troy campus, our HVCC North extension center in Malta, or online at a current in-state tuition rate of $2,528 per semester for full-time students. Several financial aid options are also available.

The college offers many transfer agreements with four-year institutions, including a seamless transfer partnership with the University at Albany and comprehensive agreements with Siena, Russell Sage, and more than 300 other colleges and universities in New York and beyond.
