Hudson Valley Community College Seeks Nominations for Distinguished Alumni Awards

Hudson Valley Community College is seeking nominations for its 2023 Distinguished Alumni Awards, which recognize the professional achievements and contributions that the college's alumni have made to the community.
Nominees should exemplify qualities of community and professional leadership, and show outstanding accomplishments in the areas of professional achievement, volunteer services and/or participation in public service organizations. Past honorees have distinguished themselves as leaders in business, health care, government and the community. Dr. Brenda Robinson ’01, George Hermina, Esq. ‘85 and Dr. John Halpin ‘82 were the recipients of last year's awards.
Anyone can nominate a Hudson Valley alum for the Distinguished Alumni Award. The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, Aug. 15.

The recipients will be honored on Saturday, Oct. 7 at a breakfast sponsored by the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation and the college's Alumni Association.
The Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable corporation formed in 1983 to philanthropically support the college's mission. Gifts to the Foundation from alumni, corporations and friends are used to enhance programs, facilities and scholarship opportunities at the college.
