College Welcomes Students for Campus Visit Day, Open Houses

Hudson Valley Community College will host a fall Campus Visit Day as well as three separate Open House events aligned to the college’s three academic schools.

The Campus Visit Day, designed for prospective students and their families, will run from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, Oct. 11, and include campus tours, a faculty panel discussion and a presentation on the college from admissions and financial aid representatives.

Prospective students or recent applicants who are seriously considering the college and may have identified an academic program of interest may also attend one of three Open House events:

  • School of Business and Liberal Arts Open House, Monday, Oct. 18, 3 to 6 p.m.
  • School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Open House, Monday, Nov. 1, 3 to 6 p.m.
  • School of Health Sciences Open House, Saturday, Nov. 13, 9 a.m. to noon

Attendees at the three Open Houses will be able to speak with a faculty or staff member from their program of choice as well as tour the campus and speak with representatives from several of the college’s student services and academic support offices, including Financial Aid and Athletics.

Hudson Valley enrolls nearly 9,000 students in more than 80 degree and certificate programs each year. Tuition for the current academic year is $2,400 per semester, plus fees, for New York State residents.
