Still considering college this fall?

Hudson Valley Community College will offer a brand new Sprint 10-week fall part of term from Oct. 13 through Dec. 18. Additional fall Sprint 8-week classes traditionally offered by the college begin on Oct. 26.

“We know there was a lot of uncertainty regarding college decision-making this fall, so we are doing everything we can to provide students with new options. That’s why we are offering 10-week courses and increasing our course offerings for the 8-week term,” said President Roger Ramsammy. “Right now, we have nearly 45 classes in a 10-week format and 75 in an 8-week session this semester – everything from chemistry and marketing to English, history and the humanities.”

Sprint terms are designed for new or current students who want to begin classes or add courses to their current schedule. They provide complete course content on a condensed schedule and a later start date within the fall semester. Plus, they can be taken by high school students looking to start their college education early this fall.
