Capital District EOC Announces Fast-Track Enrollment Week

What: The Capital District Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is offering a "Fast-Track" enrollment week for students seeking to begin this summer or fall. Interested students can complete the enrollment process for academic, business, service and technical programs, including Academic Enrichment, Building Trades, College Preparation, Cosmetology, Cosmetology State Board Exam Preparation, Culinary Arts, English as a Second Language, High School Equivalency (HSE) Preparation, Medical Office Administration (MOA), National Work Readiness Credential Exam Preparation, Nursing Assistant, Security Guard Training, Vocational Foundations, Welding and Welding Certification Upgrade.

Attendees should bring proof of New York State residence (e.g. current NYS driver's license at least one year old), proof of income (e.g. most recent tax returns) and education records (e.g. transcripts, diploma, GED/HSE).

When: Monday, July 3 – Friday, July 7 (Closed July 4) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Details: The Capital District Educational Opportunity Center provides vocational training, academic preparation programs and job placement services at no cost to eligible New York residents who are at least 16 years old, to help them succeed on the job, and to encourage ongoing personal and professional development.

The EOC is a division of Hudson Valley Community College and part of SUNY's University Center for Academic and Workforce Development. It delivers comprehensive, community-based academic and workforce development programs, and provides support services leading to enhanced employment opportunities, access to further education, personal growth and development. The EOC's services are provided free of charge for those who are eligible.
