College Celebrates 63rd Commencement; 1,976 Students to Graduate

What: Hudson Valley Community College holds its 63rd annual Commencement ceremony where 1,976 students will earn associate degrees and certificates. Of them, 412 will graduate with academic honors.
Graduates from more than 80 career- and transfer-oriented programs range in age from 17 to 61. More than 220 studied exclusively online. There are 90 active duty members of the U.S. military or veterans of service.
John Gray, local news anchor and college alumnus, hosts the live broadcast on Spectrum Cable (where available) and online from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Ceremony begins at 8:45 a.m.
Doors open to guests at 7:30 a.m.
Graduates assemble at the field house inside the McDonough Sports Complex at 7:30 a.m.
Where: Joseph L. Bruno Stadium, Hudson Valley Community College

Please note: The ceremony will take place outdoors in the Joseph L. Bruno Stadium as planned. However, due to inclement weather predictions, a live stream of the ceremony will also be available inside the field house at the McDonough Sports Complex on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are not required for access to the field house.
