High School Students Can Take College Courses at Troy High this Summer

Area high school students finishing their sophomore or junior years can now register for college-level courses at Troy High School offered by Hudson Valley Community College this summer.

The classes are offered through Hudson Valley's College in the High School program and run for six weeks, from Monday, July 3 through Friday, August 11.

Students must register by July 3.

The following courses will be offered: "General Psychology," "Principles of Macroeconomics," "Creative Writing: Short Fiction," "Pre-calculus" and "American National Government." Enrollment is limited due to space availability, and course offerings may change due to student demand.

College in the High School courses cost $50 per credit hour and are taught by college faculty. Credits can be applied to a Hudson Valley degree or transfer to most four-year colleges and universities.
