College to Host New York Center for Nursing Summit on Thursday, June 9

What: Hudson Valley Community College’s School of Health Sciences is collaborating with the New York State Center for Nursing to host the 2016 Academic Progression in Nursing Summit. The day will include presentations, a panel discussion and keynote address by Dr. John R. Lumpkin, a senior vice president at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

The conference theme will be “Promoting a Culture of Health Through Nursing Leadership and Excellence.”

Who: More than 150 nursing professionals from across New York State will be in attendance. 

Where/When: The conference will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, June 9, in the college’s Siek Campus Center.
