Statement from President Matonak on SUNY Advocacy Campaign

Hudson Valley Community College is proud to stand with SUNY as the state legislative session kicks off.

Chancellor Zimpher has clearly articulated a bold vision for the future of public higher education in New York, and now we call on our alumni, students, faculty, staff, partners and policymakers to join the campaign to support our country’s largest comprehensive university system.

Together, we will further advance higher education access, opportunities and outcomes while catalyzing economic development in every corner of the state.
