Registration Begins for Winter/Spring Credit Free Classes

Registration begins Friday, Jan. 15, for winter and spring classes and workshops offered through Hudson Valley Community College’s Office of Community and Professional Education.

Upcoming courses designed for professional development and personal growth span a wide range of activities, from motorcycle safety and personal trainer certification to hobbies and computer software.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. on Jan. 15 for all winter/spring credit-free courses. Registration information is available at www.hvcc.edu/communityed/register

Some of the varied new topics offered this winter include: floral design, healthy eating, screen printing, ballet barre exercise, intermediate Excel, wilderness navigation and arts and crafts for kids. 

Programs in basket weaving, paper crafts, photography, financial planning, continuing professional education, physical fitness, motorcycle riding and driver education are just a few of the other courses being offered in the new year. 

The college’s Center for Creative Retirement also will be offering more than 50 classes, day trips, tours and activities. Center for Creative Retirement classes and trips are designed for adults with an active lifestyle. More information also may be found at www.hvcc.edu/communityed/spring.
