In-Kind Gifts

In-kind donations of equipment, provided at no cost to the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation in lieu of a monetary gift, need prior approval from the department that is accepting the gift. The department will need to determine that the gift is consistent with the college's stated mission, purposes and priorities.

These gifts cannot be too restrictive in purpose. Gifts that are too restrictive in purpose include: those that violate the college's charter; gifts that are too difficult to administer; and gifts that are for purposes outside the mission of the college.

Those wishing to make a non-monetary donation or entrustment should review and complete the Non-Monetary Donation/Entrustment Form (PDF). Please email the completed form to foundation@hvcc.edu and a staff member will contact you.
