The EOC is working closely with Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) and the University Center for Academic and Workforce Development (UCAWD) to monitor the developing situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

  • Enrollment Services are being offered in-person at the EOC. Walk-ins for Enrollment Services are welcome, but appointments are strongly encouraged. To make an appointment, please contact us at (518) 273-1900 or
    • As required by New York State, all individuals must complete the health screening process prior to being admitted to the EOC each day and also must wear a mask at all times while in the facility.
  • Other EOC departments are providing services in-person by appointment and remotely by appointment via Zoom or email.
    • Counseling Services is available to assist you with academic advising, goal setting, problem solving, stress management, conflict resolution and more. To access services, please call (518) 273-1900 and press 0 or email your counselor. If you do not have a counselor, email and we will forward your email to a staff member who can help you.
    • College and Career Services is available to assist you with college-related questions. They can be reached at (518) 273-1900 ext. 2277 or
    • Employment Services is available to assist you with resumes and employment resources. Job leads are being posted on the Capital District EOC Facebook page and we can also assist you via email. Simply email and we will forward your email to a staff member who can help you.

  • Instruction for many EOC classes and programs continues remotely and some are taking place in-person. Email for program specific information.
  • The EOC is offering weekly COVID-19 pooled surveillance testing for all EOC students and staff. Email for more information about testing.
  • At this time, no services or instruction will be held at the Albany Center for Education.

Health Screening

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the EOC, in cooperation with Hudson Valley Community College, has implemented a health screening and contact tracing process.

Anyone coming to the EOC must complete this screening process. The COVID-19 screening questionnaire can be completed online or in person at the time of arrival.
