The Education and Social Sciences Department works collaboratively with Head Start centers around the Capital Region to help teachers and classroom staff earn the credential they need, right at their place of employment.

• We work collaboratively with Head Start centers around the Capital Region to help teachers earn the credential they need, right at their place of employment. We want to help you, too!
• We can provide field-based courses and early childhood courses at Head Start centers near you or in your own center.
• We make the educational environment in your center a richer one with courses taught by our award-winning faculty.
• Your employees may apply for Life Experience Credit.
• The Education and Social Sciences Department offers the following education-related degree and certificate programs:
  • Early Childhood A.A.S.
  • Early Childhood Administration A.A.S.
  • Early Childhood Administration Certificate
  • Liberal Arts & Sciences - Adolescent Education (Teacher Education Transfer) A.S.
  • Special Education Assistant Certificate
  • Teaching Assistant Certificate
