Even though Hudson Valley Community College offers quality education at a fraction of the cost of most private colleges and universities, financing a college education is a challenge for many students.
The Foundation’s scholarship program helps students achieve their educational goals by offering more than 150 scholarships valued at over $350,000. This is possible because of the generosity of alumni, friends and community members who have established scholarship funds.
Whether the scholarship recipient graduates and goes on to start a career or transfers to a four-year college or university, donors have the satisfaction of knowing that they have played a role in launching that student on to the next phase of their life. Donors will also have opportunities to have personal connections with recipients through thank you letters and an annual scholarship reception.
