The Heating/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Technical Services degree program gives you a strong background in the design, installation and service of commercial and residential heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
This academic program is designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation. Upon graduation, you'll be prepared to enter both the residential and commercial heating and cooling fields.

Through grant funding provided by NYSERDA, eligible students pursuing the college’s Heating/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Technical Services A.O.S. degree or Construction certificate will receive tuition reimbursement and additional support services.
Variety of Opportunities
Graduates of this program, many of whom secure jobs prior to graduating, are prepared to work as installers and service technicians, HVAC/R sales representatives, and to conduct research and testing.
Hands-on Instruction
You will learn the theory behind refrigeration and heating in both classroom and laboratory settings.
Dedicated Facilities
The college has two dedicated HVAC labs in Williams Hall.
